VOTE FOR SOCIALIST PARTY OF NIGERIA (SPN)
Clearly, there is an anger against the APC/Aregbesola administration. This is as a result of the pro-rich and anti-masses policies of the Aregbesola's administration. Agreebly, this precarious situation did not start with Aregbesola, other anti-masses and corrupt parties contributed to this malady; Aregbesola only compounded it! Or what do we say about the 4 years of Akande and over 7 years of Oyinlola? Nothing different from the APC/Aregbsola government! Scars of the whips of anti-masses policies are visible everywhere in the state, from the Lautech crisis to the deplorable state of education, the woes of workers, agony of retirees amidst an ocean of unemployed youths, yet uncompleted projects litter the state! Patently,without mentioning the annoying debt profile of the state, osun is in deep economic crises.
It is upon this background, that the forthcoming gubernatorial election becomes a determinant of the fate of osun, this is why workers, students and masses must beware. Importantly, many of the individuals contesting in the mainstream anti-masses parties are part of the mess Osun is in today. For instance, many of the individuals in SDP and ADC were part of the ruthless but corrupt administration of the PDP, for over seven years they were smiling with Oyinlola as he launched several attacks on the masses and students. Meanwhile, Oyetola and many elelements in ADP cannot be disconnected from the current administration, while PDP and AD remain a no-go area for the masses! Osun peole must not forget their history!
None of the political parties, with the exception of the SPN, can resolve the crises in the state because they all subscribe to the anti-workers and anti-masses idea of capitalism; which thrives on making the poor poorer while the rich become richer. For instance, as a result od the fraudulent projects embarked upon by Aregbeaola, Billionaire private contractors and banks get their money directly from the allocation while toiling workers and students are neglected! Contractors get paid for uncompleted projects while workers are denied their legitimate payment. This is criminal! It is only the SOCIALIST PARTY OF NIGERIA (SPN) that can halt these criminalities and absurdities. We shall probe all officials of past administrations and jail the guilty ones!
The SPN, aside being a party formed by genuine socialist activists, students and labour activists and other change seeking Nigerians, is the only party running on pro-workers and masses socialist programmes. These are programmes of FREE AND QUALITY education and healthcare, minimum wage to correspond with cost of living, abolishing the fraudulent contract system and replacing it with a well-equipped public work system to ensure employment for many(the works of the people should be done and controlled by the people!) Among many others. For us in the Socialist Party of Nigeria (SPN), there is no justification for the jumbo salary and emoluments given to public officials. Any public offical elected or appointed by the people under SPN will receive average salary of workers. You cannot receive billions and defend the interest of toiling workers, students and masses. This will ensure that more funds will be saved to pay workers' salary promptly, to fund education and end the rule of incessant school closure, provide employment opportunities by industrializing the state under workers and poor people management, among others. These are the programmes that can reposition the state to economic prosperity. Politicians of the orther parties are only committed to making the workers and masses suffer by making their rich friends richer and looting our resources.
Again, this election is not just between SPN and other parties but also between employment and unemployemnt, prosperity and poverty, free and quality education and crisis-ridden exorbitant education with incessant school closures; in short, it is about the people liberating themselves or being enslaved by corrupt and notorious politicians. Beware!
The candidate of the SPN, Comrade Alfred Adegoke, has committed over 30 years of his life to defending , workers, students and the oppressed people while politicians of the other parties have only created mess for the people.
